Miracle on Fulton St.

If you’re in or around New Orleans, be sure to visit Harrah’s to see their Miracle on Fulton Street display.  There are lots of fun events that you can find listed on their website.  This year they’re using one of our giant artificial Christmas trees along with our commercial Chrsitmas ornaments:

The display is located on the side of the Harrah’s hotel, not the casino.  If you walk down Poydras St. you’ll see the giant Santa at the foot of the entrance:

Of course your Christmas experience wouldn’t be complete without a visit to our shop.  So come on down to 1025 Decatur St., see our thousands of Christmas ornaments, and say hello!

Snow in N.O.

Snow in New Orleans is an extremely rare site…but this morning we woke up to some pretty heavy snowfall for this part of the country.  While it’s melting away now you can see it on the ground in the picture below in Jackson Square, just three blocks from Santa’s Quarters.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!

I wanted to let all of you know that Santa’s Quarters sustained no damage during Hurricane Gustav.  We lost power for only a few hours at our physical store, and are ready to re-open when our employees return to the city.  Additionally, in the event of future storms all of our website merchandise is stored in warehouses outside of New Orleans, and we are set up to quickly and easily relocate our offices as we did with Gustav.  Therefore there will never be any interruption of orders, service, or shipping in the event of another storm that affects New Orleans.
