Christmas in Hong Kong

Like everything in Hong Kong, the Christmas celebration is big! Giant Christmas trees are set up in the city and huge buildings are decorated in red and green lights. The Ocean Terminal, Hong Kong's only cruise terminal, is lavishly decorated and attracts many vistors as you can see in the image below.

Many Hong Kong Island residents cross the harbor to Kowloon to view the spectacular Christmas lights of the island, which are put up by office buildings, hotels, and shopping malls. American Christmas songs are popular in Hong Kong throughout the holiday season and can be heard in many places throughout the city.
