With less than two weeks left until Christmas, we thought we’d remind you all about our free Christmas goodies. If you’re in or around New Orleans, be sure to visit Harrah’s to see their Miracle on Fulton Street display. There are lots of fun events that you can find listed on their website. This year they’re using one of our giant artificial Christmas trees along with our commercial Chrsitmas ornaments:

The display is located on the side of the Harrah’s hotel, not the casino. If you walk down Poydras St. you’ll see the giant Santa at the foot of the entrance:

Looking for a great Christmas wreath? We’ve just added several new styles to our large selection of artificial Christmas wreaths including decorated, pre-lit, and unlit wreaths. The Inspired Room has a thought provoking post on alternative Christmas decorating color themes, with lots of great reading in the comments. While some readers make small changes to the classic red and green Christmas colors (Lori using cherry red and limey green), others are going all out with a pink decorating theme! Following yesterday’s new addition to our frosted trees, we’ve got a new flocked Christmas tree called the Winter Dream. It’s a great option for anyone looking for a heavily flocked artificial Christmas tree with a narrow profile. The down swept branches make it particularly beautiful!

Here’s a link to 4 new Christmas decorating trends for 2009, by At Home with Kim Vallee. The themes are very well coordinated with matching colors and styles. While they go beyond most residential displays, you can certainly get ideas from the article and images. For something different, consider mixing our gold decorated Christmas wreaths with gold commercial Christmas ornaments.
